The Origins and Meaning of Reiki
Reiki means Universal Life Energy. Rei means universal or transcendental spirit, and Ki represents life force energy. Out of energy, everything is created, and this universal life force is the activation energy of the universe.
Reiki was developed in Japan by Mikao Usui, who was born on 15 August 1865. He studied with Tendai Buddhist monks, martial arts, medicine, history, psychology and esoteric (mystical) arts, and his journey shaped the healing system now practiced around the world.
In this training we explore Reiki history, lineage, chakras, aura work, hand positions, symbols, Attunement (energy initiations) and the deeper spiritual dimensions of healing.
Reiki Level-1 (Shoden)
Reiki Level 1 is a self-awareness course. It helps you become more aware of your own energy and understand yourself more clearly through the concept of energy. This beginner Reiki course is your first step into the world of energy healing, designed for complete beginners with no prior experience.
Students receive a foundation in Reiki, energy, chakras and the five elements. In practice, you learn how to feel your own energy and begin a regular self-healing technique. As a Reiki student, understanding and caring for yourself is the first step before moving further on the Reiki path. The course is taught by Reiki Masters at our Healing Institute in the peaceful spiritual environment of Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.

Reiki Level-2 (Okuden)
In Reiki Level 2 you learn to heal for other people. After completing this level you are able to work as a healer. Here you learn all the aspects which are necessary to know as a healer.
Students who have successfully completed Level 1 are eligible to advance to Level 2. If the Reiki Master feels the student is ready for advancement then they will be accepted into the class. To teach a Reiki initiate who is not ready does not serve Reiki, the student or the teacher.
In Level 2, Reiki course students learn how to heal others through various different techniques: basic healing, distance healing and chakra balancing. The basic Reiki symbols will be introduced and used in practical healing sessions. The course is taught by Reiki Masters at our Healing Institute in the peaceful spiritual environment of Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.

Reiki Level-3 (Shinpiden)
The Reiki Master Level, also known as Reiki Level 3, is the highest level of personal Reiki training. This advanced course is designed only for those students who have successfully completed Reiki Level 1 and Level 2 and have experience in healing others. If the Reiki Master feels that the student is ready for Reiki Master ship, they will be accepted into the class.
This level requires complete focus on the course. Students are asked to ensure they do not have other obligations during the training period. In addition to practical healing work and introduction to new symbols, you will be taught how to teach Reiki Level 1 and 2 to others. The course is led by Reiki Master at our Healing Institute India in the deeply spiritual environment of Rishikesh, Uttarakhand — the Yoga Capital of the World.
